Week 1: Introduction to the Course & Language Improvement

Let's find out how much English you can improve this term! The first two weeks of ID2-126 will be fully dedicated to language improvement.

That means you will be practicing your English (Vocabulary, Grammar and Pronunciation).


Week 1 Objectives:

* Check lists, class schedule and rooms* Complete Contact List
  • Student-teacher introductions
  • Course Introduction:
  • Register in Moodle (if necessary)
  • Complete/Improve Profiles in Moodle
  • Add picture to Students Profiles in Moodle (if necessary)
  • Review the use of Verb Tenses in English

  • Grammar Lesson 1 (Review of verb tenses): Go over each one of the exercises, be attentive to the instructions and ask teacher in case you need help.
  • Grammar Lesson 2 (More about verb tenses): Check detailed information, exercises and quizzes found in this page.
  • Grammar Lesson 3 (A bit more about verbs): Here you will find other aspects dealing with verbs: Imperatives, Common irregular verbs, Regular Verbs, State & Dynamic verbs, Verbs with two objects.
